Ski Lessons

Beginners 

The Snow Centre is the perfect place for day skiing lessons. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even seen a ski before; with our beginners course, you will be well on your way to being a skiing legend. Starting as a complete beginner, during our five-hour skiing lesson, we will guide you through all of the skiing basics. By the end of the lesson, you will have some foundation skills, and we will also ensure you understand your equipment and fully understand slope safety.

Improvers

Once you have completed the beginners course, you can tackle our Improvers Day. Aimed at skiers who have achieved Stage 3 of The Snow Centre learning journey, or skiers who can link basic turns on easy green slopes. This one-day skiing course starts out on our Beginner Slope, where the focus will be on further developing steering and controlled turns, building confidence, refining progressive edging skills, and unlocking the ability to ride steeper terrain.  Learners will be introduced to the button lift and will follow the instructor in a controlled descent down the Main Slope. The course will focus on developing independence and confidence as an early-level skier.

Skills Development

Our Skill Development skiing day lesson is designed for guests who are independent skiers, have completed Level 5 or our Improver Day Course, and wish to develop their confidence and technique further. The lesson will start at the top of the main slope and will continue further to enhance the accuracy and control of their skis. As you progress through these skills, you will develop your turn size and shape to help tackle a variety of terrain and conditions.

Snowboard Lessons
